The Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Moutn Athos. Continue journey to Ohrid. On arrival, free time at Ohrid town center. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Tirana. On arrival, doing a walking tour of Tirana, the capital of Albania, is known for its colorful Ottoman-, Fascist- and Soviet-era architecture. Pastel buildings surround the city’s focal point, Skanderbeg Square, which is named for its equestrian statue of a national hero. On the square’s north end is the modernist National History Museum, covering prehistoric times through Communist rule and the anti-Communist uprisings of the 1990s. After breakfast, transfer to Lake Plitvice, a 295 sq forest reserve in central Croatia. It’s known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. Walkways and hiking trails wind around and across the water and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes. Continue drive to Zagreb, experience pray at Islamic Centre. The curving Ljubljanica River, lined in outdoor cafes, divides the city’s old town from its commercial hub. Continue drive to Venice. On arrival, take a boat to St Marks Square. Sightseeing around Venice with free time for Gondola ride and shopping around at St Marks Square and experience a sunset at Venice. Back to mainland and proceed for dinner & overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to visit the Duomo and Galleria. Some free time for photos and shopping. Milan is a metropolis in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, is a global capital of fashion and design. Home to the national stock exchange, it’s a financial hub also known for its high-end restaurants and shops. The Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing Leonardo da Vinci’s mural “The Last Supper,” testify to centuries of art and culture. Proceed drive transfer to airport for flight back to Kuala Lumpur for the night flight.
