Hot Springs are an understated form of enjoyment and are nature’s gift to truly relax from life’s stress. This is because the water in hot springs contain beneficial minerals such as calcium, sodium bicarbonate, silica, and sulfur, that can improve oxygen flow and circulation, besides soothing skin problems like psoriasis and eczema. Not only that, the high temperature of the hot springs would naturally seep the tension built in your muscles too! Notably, Kolam Air Panas Batu 16 is located behind and owned by a small mosque called Surau Al-Muttaqin Kariah Dusun Tua, and comes in the form of two rectangular tiled pools filled with hot spring water. There are also changing rooms, toilets, seating areas, and 10 small huts for storage purposes. If you want some privacy, this is a good place to stop by, as there is a wall between the pools to segregate genders. Unfortunately, the pools are only limited to scooping the water, as swimming isn’t allowed but it is quite a nice experience before heading to your next destination, as long as it’s between 7.30am to 7.30pm.
