Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Auckland

Day 3: Rotorua

- Travel through Te Anau and spectacular alpine landscape on the scenic highway to Milford Sound.
- Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls.
- Queenstown – Milford: 287km (approx. 3hrs 50 mins) each way.

- After that, return to Queenstown.

- Depart Queenstown this morning and travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea before turning into the World Heritage Westland National Park.
- Continue north to arrive in the Glacier Region where mighty rivers of solid white ice, relics of the world’s last ice age, tumble down the rocky valleys.
- Stroll around the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.
- For self-drive clients, entry to the Glacier Hot Pools (Franz Josef) is included.
Day 8: Glacier Region – Greymouth – Christchurch

- Travel north to Greymouth today and board the world-famous Tranz Alpine train (SIC guests only).
- Greymouth – Christchurch
- Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps onto Christchurch.
- Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to arrive in the ‘garden city’ of Christchurch.
Day 9: Christchurch – Kuala Lumpur
